Seasonal Self Care for Late Summer
Movement, Mindfulness, and Earth Based Wisdom Traditions
According to Chinese medicine and Daoism, late summer is the golden harvest season of the abundant earth element. It marks the transition from yang to yin and is a season of preparation for winter. During this short, plentiful season, we should focus on digestion and grounding. It’s a time to center and consider what truly nourishes us.
In this online course, you’ll be guided through movement (yoga and gentle somatic work), meditation, inquiry practices, readings and poetry, nutrition, and herbal suggestions for the earth element and the season of late summer.
Simple seasonal practices are a beautiful way to weave more intention and wellness into your life. I created this course to guide you in nurturing self-care as we move through the late summer season.
