Inner Path Principles
Learn about our core vision and guiding values.
Bodies of Healing
Healing in the deepest way requires that we honour and integrate all levels of our being: physical, energetic, mental, and spiritual. Our programs recognize that no single aspect of being is more important. To skillfully bring holistic medicine into our lives, we must meet and support all the parts of ourselves that need nurturance and healing.
Honouring Wisdom Lineages
We offer profound gratitude to the many sages, physicians, teachers, activists, yogis and scholars who have walked this path before us. We aim to bring forward and steward ancient teachings in a way that honours their origins and history while making them relevant for today’s modern world. Depending on the offering, expect to find classes, courses, retreats, and training programs influenced by Chinese medicine, Ayurveda, Western herbalism, holistic nutrition, somatic and therapeutic studies, yoga, and Buddhist contemplative practices.
We Are Nature
Our modern culture has lost its earth-based roots. Today, our ability to see our interdependence is clouded by stories of dominance and separation rather than reciprocity. However, ancient wisdom traditions teach us that we are not merely a reflection of nature; we are nature. Regenerating a culture around, and taking refuge in, this truth is central to personal and planetary healing.
Functional, Adaptive & Therapeutic
Our needs are like the changing landscape of the seasons. They shift and transform like the phases of the moon or the tides of the great oceans. As wayfarers on the path, we must plot a course and adapt through the many twists and turns and strange and wonderful gifts we encounter along the way. Functional and therapeutic practices aim to create resilience, lightness of being, embodied presence and balance.
Inner Path
Outer Action
Navigating the times we live in requires us to actively dismantle systemic harm. We recognize that our personal healing and liberation are deeply interconnected with planetary health and collective well-being. Equity, inclusion and sacred responsibility are central values in our work. Our inner practice serves our compassionate engagement with the world.
